GORHAM ECUMENICAL FOOD PANTRY CLIENT GUIDELINES
Welcome to our facility! We are here to help you and you can be assured that we will respect your privacy. If you need more help than we can provide, please contact the district social services office in Windham.
GORHAM RESIDENTS: The pantry is founded and sustained by the churches and volunteers of Gorham. We will not turn anyone away. However, if you are from a neighboring town, please use the pantry in your hometown. We can help you find that information if needed.
CONFIDENTIALITY: Please understand that we need to collect the personal information on the client intake form for funding purposes. We depend on you to be honest and truthful with us. Please be as accurate as possible with the information you provide. We will keep your information private and safe. And we ask you to respect other client's privacy by following the Confidential Sign-In procedure.
• You may visit the pantry once (1 time) each month.
• We ask for respectful conduct on the pantry properties: in parking lot, while waiting outside, in waiting room, and while shopping.
RESELLING OF GOODS:
We purchase the majority of our goods from Good Shephard Food Bank. Reselling of the goods obtained here is strictly prohibited by law. Returning goods to the store for a refund or reselling pantry goods can cause:
• This pantry to lose its Good Shephard contract thereby losing supplies for this pantry.
• Your Criminal Prosecution.
• Your restricted use of the pantry.
NO SMOKING: This is a smoke free campus. No smoking in the pantry, parking lot, or surrounding area. Violation may result in restricted use of the pantry.
